Welcome to our club, Heiwana Kokoro no Ken
We are a 'Not for Profit' internationally affiliated martial arts dojo, dedicated to the study of Muso Jikiden Eishin Ryu (MJER) Iaijutsu or simply 'Eishin Ryu' a Japanese sword art tracing its teachings directly back to the 16th Century Samurai of Japan.
We have had the honour of learning from direct lineage of multiple different sensei (teachers), including Sensei's Shimabukuru, Iwata and Asano.
Iaijutsu is more than just learning sword techniques to defeat an enemy, it is about developing a positive attitude to live your life and improving mental strength, creating a confident spiritual harmony.
New students are always welcome, our dojo offers a friendly, inclusive and respectful environment with qualified instruction, attracting amazing talent both from the UK and internationally.
