Hi everyone, i want to make a brief point on artificial intelligence (A.I). I have and never will use A.I in any of my blogs, posts or teaching material.
Recently as you all know i completed my first year of my degree, i scored very high, i have also written a novel with nearly 90,000 words and have another (though it is on hiatus at the moment) on the way which will make the last look like a 10 cents drug store comic.
All of the material i post are my musing and from things that i have been taught by various sensei, i do not, have not and never will allow A.I to write any material on this page (or in anything else that i may create in my life). During my degree, i read an article about how to detect A.I material, and so now when online i often read i know what to look for, remember that A.I material that talks about sword techniques and diffrent tenets of Iai will have taken its material from all over the net, mixing everything into a massive bolt on hodge podge that really means nothing. But more than that, i feel that i would be doing all of my students a diservice by using it, as it would not be my own words, which wrong or right, i will live and stand by, and if i am wrong i will always be happy to own and correct if pointed out to be incorrect.
So when you (as do we all) are reading something about Iai or Kenjutsu or anything at all for that matter there are a couple of things to look for, there are words that frequently reappear in A.I created text, one of the most blearingly obvious is a word which for some reason A.I just loves to use.
That word is 'Delve'
So be careful when you are doing your sword research as any teacher who uses A.I is truly not a teacher at all.....
