April Monthly Round Up

Hi everyone,

And here we are yet again, the end of the month round up, i can hardly believe that it is May in two days.

It has been a good month at the club, we have focused on basic details, which we will continue over the next few months, also learning the shapes of the first four waza sets (Batto ho shoden and Okuden, Omori Ryu and Seitei)

We have also had three of our members go to join Tim Hamilton over the weekend, training in Wales, i know they will have a great time learning lots. On the same point i have this month had a brief discussion about having Sensei Philip Smith coming over and training with us, Philip is one of the countries senior instructors in Shinto Munen Ryu, he is also very good friends with Sensei Burlingham of the Broadland Aikido club, If we can arrange a joint seminar we will do something toward the end of the year.

It is not long now before we start planning the February Seminar, really hoping to get Tim and Tom along this year, to make it a really great experience in '25.

Thats all for now, see you in the lines in May

Regards,

Scotty
